Pump with Young and MB

MB had crowned me as a "newbie" when I was at FF Maxis last night. I was disorientated when I entered the different reception area, eye brows were raised by the time I passed the brand new juice bar arrangement, couldn't decide which locker to use after entering the locker room, examined the timetable for a long time outside the studio when I was upstairs... confirmed my "newbie status" when I didn't even know that I should fetch my mat from outside the studio before entering class. It took me so long to gathered all my plates since I've not done pump for some time, leave alone doing pump at Maxis. Haha...

Since FI was not teaching on Monday, the best pump option would have to be Young's (unless I travel ALL the way to Damansara to do Carebear's "late night" class). Had checked with the instructor in question days before going over (to avoid disappointment in case he was not teaching) and I got a replied promising big tough time for this class... and he didn't break his promise! I'm now "enjoying" my muscle pain as I type.

I didn't join any pump class last week and was expecting to be tired out during warm-up, even so, I'd fixed up my usual 5kg for the warm-up - I survived and was looking forward to the next tracks...

Squat was one of the old time favorite, What's Going On? (is this the title of the song though). I thought the class was a bit quiet, and was a bit "shy" to make any noise, but geezzz... too many bottom halves already lah! How can you not groan due to all those efforts. Up to the chest track, I was till with my usual weights, this has always been one of my weakest track besides biceps, so as expected, it was really tough for me, had to "cheat" by changing my singles to top halves. Luckily it was a track with break in between, so my "moaning" was not so bad I'd say.

Was there something wrong with the back track? How come I don't remember that track to be THAT tough? Gosshhh... I nearly gave up!

Just when I thought the class couldn't get any "worse", I was wailing in pain in the tricep track, partly due to me using 5kg instead of reducing that "usual" weights, but mainly due to all those pull-overs!!! The later release, what's the name of that song again?

The rest of the other tracks felt so long, even the conditioning track seem so much longer, why ah?

Too bad the RPM studio is not open till the next day, otherwise I would have done the "buddy ride" with MB after pump class... Hehe, yea right?

Like the torturing wasn't enough, I went on the stepper after pump - but the actual reason was I needed to wait for Fiza to finish her Balance so I can pass her the birthday present. And I was glad we had the chance to catch up after that at Coffee Bean. Happy birthday Fiz!

(there are too many birthdays in December, leave alone the Christmas celebration, I'm broke already!)

Also, thanks Young for the torturing class, and lending me the headphone so I could keep myself entertained at the stepper. I'm glad you could manage to finish your Christmas present before you (I) left the gym, it had to mean it was not too bad. Merry Christmas if I don't see you again before that...

It's such a familiar feeling gym-ing at Maxis, I was so regular over there during those old days. And I always find my spirit particularly high and charged with energy whenever I workout at Maxis since PT would always be around. How can one not workout hard when one's PT is around right? Passed by PT for two times and, like what I said in my text message, he was too macho and cool. To that, his reply was that he wanted to say hi and chat but was not allowed during PT. OK lah... But yeah, that would be the best time to kacau your PT without getting any torturing in return. Haha...
