Too good to be true

Set my alarm at 8am but only woke up 2 hours later. Poor little baby was waiting patiently. But tomorrow I will have to wake up on time to give baby her bath.

Perhaps due to sufficient sleep and rest, I felt rather energetic and actually clapped when Hobbes said he wanted to do a non-stop class - circuit training according to Hobbes. Felt like I was up to the challenge. Well, I survived! But it was REALLY tough! Just because Hobbes won't be seeing us in two weeks time, or are you taking a break for the whole of June dear?

So, went through a no break BP, we did this chest track which I'd never done before, from the era of BP 30's as I was told. We worked the whole track from bottom, many many bottom halves followed by super slow. By the time I got up from the board after chest track, I felt my head spinning already. When we got to lunges, I felt my heart beating fast and hard against my chest. While doing the biceps, I could almost agree with the song that said "I'm in a bad bad mood, and it's all because of you...". Okay, I don't mean we hate you Hobbes, of course we love you so much, but it was really tough leh....

The parting advice from the instructor was since we worked so hard, don't go ruin all the hard work by eating Nasi Lemak. That was when I mouthed "Baskin Robbins" to Hobbes and immediately got the gleaming look from his face too. Haha... Ice cream is perfectly okay. Nasi Lemak, cannot!

So at 3pm, I headed towards Baskin Robbins, followed Hobbes at his heels without him noticing until we all reached BR. The queue was EXTREMELY long!!! When we checked, the then number being attended to was 107. My number was 128. I thought it was quite reasonable. So decided to wait... since I got company, I was chatting away and before I knew it, it had been 45 minutes of waiting already. Thought of giving up since it was rather late and the line was moving really slow. We found out that there were some inconsiderate customers taking their own sweet time in tasting the flavours before deciding!!! Humphh...

Finally at 4pm, Hobbes and gang decided to leave. Besides, Hobbes needed to rush for another class. So I was left to decide on waiting or leaving.

I waited because if I give up, I'd wasted one hour for nothing. The number being served at that time was 117. Okay lah. While waiting, I had nothing to do so sent a few text. And calculated the time BR used to serve its customer. The answer - 5 customers per staff per hour! So slow and I wasn't sure if that was entirely the customers' fault. So when I got my ice cream, it was 4.45pm -

Time taken - 1 hour 45 minutes
Cost savings - RM26.66
Reward - 2 quart tubs
Reaction from family (including 2 cousins, uncle, aunt, BIL, mum and MC (when she comes back)) - priceless :)

Okay lah, I'm all patient when it comes to pleasing my beloved ones. Cousin sis was already longing for me to get her BR ice cream when I mentioned the 31% BR discount for the day. My uncle was also very happy since he'd gotten into this dessert-mood recently. The other tub waiting in the freezer for MC to come back - Rum & Raisins + Jamoca Almond Fudge ^_^

After that was a major rush to TC! Fizz already called earlier to say she will be there early. But due to me waiting at BR, I only made it on the agreed dinner time. Farid and her had already spent 2 hours at Dome Cafe. Thanks for waiting patiently for me gals!

So handed cake to SSB (during which I managed to say "hi" to LadyNina) - thanks for the feedback and thanks for choosing TTB as your preferred baker - and rushed over to Dome.

Had a great gossip, or rather, story telling session and I am feeling really contented now. It's great to have my gal friends enjoying my stories, what more, agreeing that it's a good idea. And yeah, I'm occasionally quite smart too. Thanks for the compliment :) If only I can remember the brilliant lines Farid had came up with during the session. Farid, I seriously think you should blog too. Hehe...

As I quote Fizz, it's now Season 1 and story to be continued. But I sometimes feel that things are too good to be true and am loosing my judgement and instinct. I need help!

PiC is turning...

Happy birthday to my PiC at gym. Don't think you are a regular reader of my blog, but it's a practice for bloggers to just dump whatever message, stories, information, onto here.

I don't remember what age you will be turning to today... But whatever age it is, stay cool and collected, serene and try to always maintain the "zen" and don't do this again.

Have a great one dear, may all your dreams come true and all my other wishes as per the sms. :p

My Christmas Present!!!

My darlings. Thank you for the present. Feels great and jolly to get a "Christmas" present regardless when I receive it.

When we look back, we often find that a lot of things have changed. People changed... But I'll always be there if you need to be indulged in something "sweet". :)

TMTH

I just got a missed call which luckily I replied to. Cupcake Queen Jr, who shall be crowned The Queen proper, wanted to order some mini cupcakes. I was saying a few days ago that looks like I'm taking a break from baking this weekend, but like I'd suspected... Baking it is! (waiting for the butter to soften) And we shall have 2 Queens!

I was earlier in a BB class with MC, BIL as usual, did his own cardio and weights, we shall do BP together next week k? MC observed that the class this morning was much more filled up than last 2 weeks when we came - because Hobbes is back - now you know what I mean by the instructors are directly related to the attendance. MC was not convinced to join BP with me next Saturday until I told her Hobbes is going to teach that class in question. See, I'm not the only one who select classes according to instructors. Haha...

The class was very challenging, so very Hobbes. One warrior post can send your legs to agony pain when challenged by Hobbes. The best part of the class for me (besides the relaxation at the end) was the split! I couldn't do the split, but have been wanting to be able to. Though my thighs were so painful, are still very painful now, I'm sure I'm one step closer to a full split!

Oh, last night was a gathering with ex-colleagues. So much laughter, miss all of them and surely missed all those stories. And I miss you at Gym Shen. Good to know that everyone is doing so well and all of you (except for Farid who doesn't need to) are coping very well with The Devil Who Doesn't Wear Prada. That's advance level, way to go gals!

There were so much to talk about but time flies, and the mummies (I mean plural of mother) had to go back early. I was still talking when I head to the car park with Farid, and during that short journey we talked about various topics, one of which of course about guys (girls' talk usually involve talking about guys). Generally, I have barb wires and warning sign around me especially when guys approach. But I will usually be okay if the intend is casual and not TMTH - too much to handle. (new phrase courtesy of Farid). ;)

T says:
wait wait...

TTB says:
Ok...

T says:

T says:
but it might not reach me

TTB says:
HUH???

TTB says:
Why cannot reach?!!

T says:
you can just pass to me when you see me

(Whoooopssss!!!)

TTB says:
I'll try

TTB says:
See how lah

.....................

Sorry, I wasn't at the surprise birthday celebration at Axis last night. Hope it was a blast! Above all, I'm really not a BJ person and my knee pain didn't help me with the status either :p.

Happy birthday darling! May you stay Diva forever.

ps. BTW I am NOT sending you CNY card lah. Will send you an electronic greeting. Hehe...

As a side note, this on line Florist that I've ordered from is very good. The items look innovative and pleasing enough, price reasonable (sort of within my budget) and most importantly, very good service. I'd simply send them an e-mail enquiring whether they received my order, even though I've received an auto-confirmation, and they replied me within the next 10 minutes. They even replied to say "welcome" when I thank them for the confirmation. The item was delivered this morning before noon. As I said good service, highly recommended. :)

Carebear said perhaps I should introduce this to Choobacca eh? Haha...

A Special Garden for A Special Birthday Gal

I hope my "landscaping" skill is acceptable... Made some walnut chocolate chips cupcakes, covered with colourful butter icing. Transform them into a garden by adding piped icing flowers, added leaves (I love this nozzle) and my new found favorite - the "stones". Oh, managed to get the butterflies to give some "life" to the garden. Happy Birthday Farid!

See the "stones"? The ones in red, grey, green... They are actually chocolate. I think Diha was quite intrigued by them last night thinking they really look like real stones.

Combat inspired by PiC

I was so inspired with the shouting in combat class today; and all those funny noises we make in class, because my gym Partner in Crime was at TC today. Too bad I really can't stay for pump, otherwise, PiC is also a very good companion for all those painful groaning in pump classes.

Combat without mic was somehow tricky during certain times. Especially with those unfamiliar tracks for me. PiC, after not joining Master C's combat for so long, was in big confusion at parts where spot tests were given (the mix up of left right tests) and was grumbling about certain other things, must remember to check with her tomorrow what irritated her.

Realized that the sexy track is always paired up with so what track. I love the so what track so so much because it is a really good stress relief track, the pin down enemy and punch part is my favorite!

All in all I enjoyed the class a lot today, especially enjoyed the almost synchronized shouting with PiC, although I did missed the second tempo by half a beat, but still managed to shout that with PiC's cueing.

I was really tempted to stay back for pump seeing PiC and Fiz arranging their boards and weights, oh well, next week I must resume my pump classes, including this late night Monday pump, got to get my strength back!

Passed Carebear her "presents" before she commenced her class. I hope the extra pack was being delivered ok. And to the question of why some people didn't get cookies while other people like Carebear did - one of the reasons to that is, as I quote, because you haven't got the Queenly Privilege. Ok ok, I added the Queenly bit, but that's really one of the main reasons besides other common reasons like, you are on diet.

Are you being silly? Or am I?

If you like someone who might not like you back, are you being silly?

You are not being silly, you might find out one day, you are just taking a very "thorny" path; a tiring journey; an almost mission impossible - You are just being very ambitious because you would never know if you never try. At the end of the day, defeat or conquest, you will still stand proud for your battle scars and wounds instead of regretting for retreating to that save little protective shelter.

If I am overly sensitive towards other people's reactions, am I being silly?

I am not being silly, I have just found out today, I am just taking the safer journey; an easier way out; almost not wanting anything to commence - I am just being too observant for my own good because I have been very careless before. At the end of the day, whether I guessed right or wrong, it's still better to prevent than being sorry for wounding anyone, leaving scars in friendships.

Sometimes... Sometimes you will find that your friend is actually a god sent angel in disguised. Thank you.

Thank you for enlightening me tonight, it's worth missing gym for. (OK, not the missing gym part, I really have to work hard tomorrow to battle off fats)

Happy Birthday Hobbes

Cheese + blueberry lover = the return of the sticky chocolate blueberry cheesecake.

Actually, have been planning with Little Bro aka Manjakid, for a surprise birthday do for Hobbes... originally, we wanted to do the "birthday cake scare" - appearing with the cake outside the studio after Hobbes' Saturday BBalance at The Curve... Then I cancelled that plan. Because, it's fasting month and the gals, my usual surprise party squad will not be able to participate. So, discussed with Farid and we thought it was best to arrange for a buka puasa dinner which comes with a belated birthday celebration then.

Later I found out that Hobbes was teaching pump last night (Friday) and thought perhaps I could whip up a cake for a little surprise for him on Friday night. But bro said they had a dinner arrangement. Besides, it was quite tiring baking a cake after work, late after work. So I told bro that I'll think of something but most probably belated then.

THEN, I thought, since I was suppose to go to The Curve today (Saturday) why don't I just drop a birthday present for Hobbes? After considering hard and long, I couldn't think of anything perfect to get him. So, at the end, I'd revived the original little birthday surprise do at gym, but slight amendment to executing it before Hobbes' class, and imported my personal surprise party squad - my sis, cousin sis and bro in law. And of course the Manjakid as the very insider and head of birthday song choir.

The cake was trimmed this time, so the layers were more visible. Compared with the last one I made.

But it's too plain for a birthday cake right. So Hippo (courtesy of my little cousin) was on duty again. Still quite plain. So I added the birthday tag, which gave more colour to the cake, and might as well add a matching ribbon.

Cake was then placed in a present box instead of the usual cake box, finished with a gold bow, didn't look like a cake at all, but forgot to take a picture of that. Did it this way slso, just in case if Hobbes was late, then I can still pass him the present quickly, without the celebration.

So, there we were at gym, the reception kindly let the rest of the non-gym members in with me and we waited at the reception area. The "present" was placed on the table for the birthday-boy-to-be (actual day 18 Sept k guys) to unveil the "surprise". Well, Hobbes were somehow surprise when I told him to come and "meet" his present (told him the night before that I wanted to pass him something, didn't suspect me at all meh?). Bet he was really wondering what present I've gotten him (erm... what else can a baker offer ah?) and was (I hope) pleasantly surprise to see the cake. If my record is right, blueberry and cheese should be his favorites.

Once Hobbes had settled down with the cake, and I'd lit up the candle, Manjakid had happily gathered a birthday song choir. Plus my personal squad, we made an impressively loud birthday song presentation, or was it loud enough? We wanted to do a second take for better effect, but I supposed we were hushed by the very shy birthday boy.

Hobbes had certainly made the cake look delicious, quite a perfect model if I need someone to advertise for my cakes. Aren't you convinced that the cake was delicious with this kind of face expressions? This also gives the "indulge in the cake but would not get fat" message. Mwah hahaha...

I remembering saying that the baking of the cake was not messy as described by the founder of this recipe, but apparently she meant the eating part being messy not the baking. Well, it was indeed quite messy since the centre of the cake was self-saucing type. Better to do this with plates and spoons - oppss... sorry, didn't think of organizing these. And of course the cake will be more "manageable" if it was straight out from the fridge. Nevertheless, since self-saucing chocolate puddings are normally being served immediately from the over, I find this the best arrangement for serving self-saucing chocolate dessert at places far from the oven.

I had a great time indulging myself in the scene of happy faces and contented look of savouring the cake. I think indulging my friends is the best way to indulge myself also.

Happy birthday darling, and here are the pictures of the hippo...

Facebook Attack

I was spending quite sometime facebook-ing yesterday, during office hour! ("Illegally" of course).

Joint Facebook through invitation from FI. Didn't sign up immediately, quite lazy since the previous WYAN thingy was not exactly interesting for me. But later MasterChef told me this is an "in" thing and is a must join network, so then I joint.

What is Facebook ah? It's for friend networking with loads of applications to entertain ourselves. I realize that I've got to know a lot of people and especially effective to finally "put a name to the face".

One big difference between Facebook and blogging is the identities - we are all with real names in Facebook. If I were being asked to enter a "Facebook name" I wouldn't have used my full name. The name was given thinking it was just for signing up, but later found out that, that's going to be the name appearing in Facebook. Well, we would have to actually, otherwise when our friends try to search for us in the Facebook network, they won't be able to find us because they will never know what sort of nickname we use.

Anyways, join if you haven't and if you have a desk-bound job like mine, try not to get distracted with all the notification from Facebook.

BBQ

Had a BBQ last Saturday at house. MasterChef requested for one originally for her two overseas visitors, her students from college. Later I thought perhaps I'll just invite a few more friends, the more the merrier right. But, since the house is not that huge, can't accommodate that many people, so there were only a few guests of honour.

MasterChef and BIL prepared the savoury items, got them marinated days before and I took care of the dessert items - made party choc cupcakes and some tarts. Tried to combine the Pana Cotta with tart, it was quite a flop, it's not staying in the menu, but the Pana Cotta on its own was good, only need minor adjustment to the recipe and it will be a keeper. Story of the making of dessert in another entry.

Got satay from Hj Samuri, the famous Kajang Satay, which later formed the easiest item to BBQ (just need to reheat on the stove). I had my cousin bro came to help me set up the BBQ stove and had the fire up and ready.

After a whole day of preparation, we've managed to put together a BBQ menu like this:

xxx

Starters
Potato Salad

On The Grill
Prawns Skewer
Sotong Skewer
Chicken Skewer
Lamb Chop with homemade mint sauce
Vegetable Skewer with cumin and chilli flakes
Kajang Satay with peanut sauce
Chicken Balls
Frankfurters

Side Dishes
French Fries
Chicken Nuggets

Desserts
Chocolate Cupcakes
Pana Cotta
Peanut Butter Ice Cream Tarts
Fruits - Mango, Langsat and Rambutan
Lychee Cocktail
xxx

MasterChef went out to fetch her students later the evening while we stay behind to prepare, and snack on whatever cooked item we laid our hands on... the fries was a heat as our temporary measure to hunger, it went particularly well with mayonnaise (with chilli powder).

By the time Little Bro and Hobbes arrived I was already quite full... so I've diverted my attention and energy to whisking them towards the BBQ stoves and making sure they piled up their plates. Even the boys didn't seem to do that well, can't even manage to fill in desserts. So take away it was... together with some little gifts from London.

The only one who had managed to eat the cake was little Daniel.

Before the BBQ ended, sleepiness suddenly caught up with me, without sounding too rude, I was suggesting for my guests to retire early (10pm already?) to get some good rest :p.

Got comments that the mint sauce was really good and compliment the lamb chop really well, well done MasterChef! The sotong was also a heat, that was my favorite too besides the vege skewers. It was fun gathering around preparing your own food "professionally" under the cozy (though boiling hot) atmosphere.

Last Friday

I always plan for my blog content while going through interesting events everyday, mentally composing the sentences, just that I am most of the time not able to cope with the amount of stories, simply no time to blog during certain days. Take last Friday for instance, it was a day full of stories and I planned to get home early to blog. However, due to unexpected arrangements, I reached home only midnight. Since I foresee a long and tiring weekend, I opt to go to bed instead of staying up pass midnight.

My gym schedule was a bit unusual last Friday, went to The Curve for pump, sort of in replacement for the pump I missed on Thursday. Plus, Carebear said she is replacing, what better than a perfect time slot and a perfect instructor?

I thought it was a good decision to join class at Curve that day, we got to do the upcoming release! The pump class was jointly conducted by Carebear and Cindy, I haven't done Cindy's class before and I think she wasn't really taking a lot of classes during her pregnancy (that was about the time I joint FF). True enough, she told the class that the mentioned class meant a lot to her because that was her first class back after delivering her baby. You know what? I can't even trace an inch on her that indicates that she's a mother. Cindy was great, coupled with Carebear gave great synergistic effect.

Besides the track surprises, I was also surprised to spot Partner in Crime with Diha working their souls out in body attack. So with PiC in class with me later, my session of pump became so lively, just like the old days at Maxis. PiC is just the best buddy to gym with, I remember there was one of those days when we actually took leave (not purposely but it was during clearing annual leave season, so we had planned "wisely") just to go to gym. Did something like 4 classes with FI at LM. The finale for the day of gym, as I remember vividly, was body attack during which we were so worked-out that we gone almost insane, ending the class with hysterical laughs. Madness but syiok!

The new release - simply awesome! Really torturing! I screamed my heart out during chest track, missed a few moves during back track and can't feel my arms after biceps. New moves for abs was very effective (i.e. more torturing) and quite refreshing.

Continued with combat... too bad Farid was not there. Renee's class was quite explosive as well and I actually told her it was a great class. I guess it will be so when we change from our regular regime to a different class/ instructor. There were a few new tracks, not all, just a few from the next release. I love the recovery track - which Renee said is NOT a recovery track. Throw that out the window, put it behind. She's right, the double back kick (fast mode) cannot be considered recovery move at all. My energy was drained before the end of the class, I know there would be more surprises but couldn't drag myself to go on, so skipped the conditioning track. Diha told me later that it's tough but really great.

Got a text from PiC (who didn't join combat) that she's still around having dinner, and I was really tempted with her invitation to chill out before heading home. I really needed to go back early actually, it was already 10pm plus, but I didn't want to just go off, so we went for a "short" chat at Coffee Bean, had the blueberry mousse cheesecake (MB: I finally tried this, it's great! very light and it felt less fattening. But I don't really like the form of the blueberries they use though). By the time I sent PiC home and got home myself, it was already midnight, hence only the story telling for last Friday now - "illegally" because it's still office hour! I will put in some hours tonight at home to work...

Present from Bali

Thanks for the present little bro, love the colour, it will go well with the new top I got from Shen.
Sorry to keep you waiting yesterday and sorry for my delayed thank you note, was really rushing yesterday. Hope you were not late for your SPK class. See you around, muahs.

Technology is definitely adding more life and colours to our communication today. My boss, from his room, which is like 5 strides away from my desk, sent me an sms telling me today is Guan Yin's enlightenment day. So I sent him a message through MSN messenger telling him I'm aware of that and I'll be good and won't scold anyone today (will leave that to tomorrow haha).

Happy Birthday Little Bro

I woke up really puffy eyed on Saturday... yes I stayed up quite late, but I still managed my 8 hours of sleep, perhaps drank too much water just before bed.

There was supposed to be a "well planned" surprise party for little brother... The making of this surprise was about a week ago... too bad the gymfreaks couldn't make it, at the end, the so called surprise party squad only consist of Farid, Elaine and me... my co-producer, Hobbes, was late due to bad traffic that day... The squat members got sort of too engrossed with our newly bought Harry Potter, so nearly missed delivering the surprise on time... Honestly, our timing was really a bit off... Bro was already outside the studio when I rush over with the cake, managing badly with the candle which went off as quick as it's being lid by Elaine. Also, due to limited number of the choir member, the birthday song was not impressive enough, though little bro tried to hush us, what was there to hush ah bro? But we sort of got "help" for the second round of birthday song, and that was slightly better.

Riyo and CareBear sort of joint us for a while during the cake cutting and a totally frustrated co-producer joint us after the cake cutting...

A few other members whose name I've forgotten, (so sorry!) joint the "celebration" and we managed to take a few snaps before the girls continue with combat. Thanks a lot gals for missing a few tracks for this...

Farid got the birthday boy some really cute party balloons and a huge lollipop.

Some hazelnut syrup for the icing and chocolate mint stick to decorate... by the way bro, this is the choc mint stick if you want to buy, I got this from Cold Storage at Ikano.

Happy birthday little brother (actual birthday on 24 July) and I hope you like the cake. I think we can do this better next year ;)

May all your dreams come true and many many happy returns!

A Session of Catching Up (i.e. Gossiping)

I need to change my gym schedule...

I've tried joining step on Tuesdays at The Curve, I love step, especially free-style step, but that class is at 8.30pm and with little bro being SO generous, the class is often more than an hour. I like my current Monday schedule - combat + pump so don't feel like changing that... Though I found that Monday workout would drain almost all my energy, which I think is because I've lately started with playing squash on Sunday. In conclusion, Tuesdays have to be light workout only, if I want to workout at all, since I will be working out on Saturday, Sunday and Monday... anyways... my original plan of resting on Tuesdays might not work (so I'm sticking to light cardio on Tuesdays) because I found out today that Tuesday will be a good day to catch up with Shen when she gyms at MML, like today... in fact, Farid was there too... Had a good gossip session, some catching up and thank you Kak Nini and Shen for the presents (love the light-blue-rather-sexy-size 8-top and the cookies recipe book). We all agreed that Umbridge in the latest Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix strongly resembles my devil ex-boss.

Almond biscotti sounds like a good idea...

Anyways... talking about Harry Potter... (stop reading here if you've not seen it and don't' want to know) got a few sms from MasterChef already even before I went to watch the movie, the review was the movie is great and very impressive... so, I really felt that due to those reviews, I had a rather high expectation, therefore, felt a bit disappointed that the movie was just "ok". It's definitely better than the previous episode - more magical (yes, I had to agree), a few new casts which fit aptly for the various characters and better effects. I felt that, however, the movie lacking some really "wow" factor. One thing that touched me most was the appearance of Serius Black, the moment I saw that character, my eyes just couldn't help but well up with tears because I knew he's going to die at the end of the story. Harry Potter was not as annoying as in the book (he was just so bad tempered and reckless in the book); If I remember correctly (lazy to go dig out the book to "research" on this) the one who reported the DA was not Cho Chang, but another kid name erm... Z something... because Hermione had a spell that did something to the person who betrayed the club; I remember the twins causing more havoc than those shown in the movie; They didn't even show the mirror Serius gave Harry as a present, that really made me cry when I read the book...

Now... Harry Potter finale to look forward to, everyone said they planned to stay in so they can gobble up the book in one go... and some people are that kiasu - planning to collect the book at 7.01am this Saturday... well, I'm just gonna wake up as usual and so what if I'm one or two chapter behind... haha...

Secretly, I'm actually very worried - Would I have enough time to read the book given how busy work is lately??!! Arghhhh........

Where did time go?

Another week just flew passed. Really felt that I've not been having enough time lately. I used to think that I couldn't manage a office based job, always loved the sales job when most of my time were spent out, won't be bored staying at office, trying to kill time, waiting to go back. I now have a really different perception towards full time office based job - if you get one that's busy enough, time flies and it can be as enjoyable. In fact, I have been lately wishing that there are more hours in a day. I just didn't have enough time, like this week for instance, I've only manage to go to one pump class... it's always all plans but fail in action. Yesterday was so typical, I had everything nicely planned, work done, only need to finalize a few very minor, can't possibly take a lot of time items to discuss with my boss before I head to gym, then suddenly everyone wanted to see my boss too, and there was a little drama which didn't help with me sticking with my gym plans...

One of my new colleagues (one week with the company) broke into tears while talking to my boss about her earlier episode - she presented to the management and got some major "told off" by the big boss... I'm not sure if that's the case, my big boss is just loud and direct, but not unreasonable, and my first presentation was a disaster too! The whole thing was just unacceptable... but we will get round it, just need to do better and learn to gauge the standards and requirement right? But really, it was (is) really tough, very stressful. However, this is nothing like what I had to go through with my ex boss whom I always refer to as "The Devil" - she was really bad, very unreasonable, liked to pick on me, had a very irritating voice, and worse of all, she didn't know what she was talking about most of the time and that would most probably be because she didn't know her job, at all. Now, my current boss, he can well give all the remarks he likes however way he wants because he can afford to do so - he knows the company really well. Nevertheless, I think it's going to be really worth while at the end of the day... I shouldn't think one should get that upset with his remarks...
xxx
sms from auntie: Can I order 35 cupcakes form you ah? Need before sun.

Ok, I was originally not in favour of baking 2 chocolate cakes, now it's confirm that there's no way I'm gonna be baking 2 choc cakes and 35 cupcakes...

... the next sms reads: Actually I want 40, 5 wt lots of raisins and icing, the rest plain.

So, no way I'm gonna be baking 2 choc cakes and 40 cupcakes - 42 because mum wanted 2 to give to a neighbour. And since I'm in need to "sweetened" up the atmosphere in the office, I would need to bring in the chocolate moments... and since the other half of the cake has been booked by sms buddy - food tasters, I'm so sorry, next round k...

Went to gym today soon after I was out from bed... found myself yawning all time at gym when I did my free weights. I was also sniffing and achoo-ing towards the end when I did my 20 minutes stepper (the weather has been really bad lately and I forgot to take my Clarinase before going to gym). Anyways, the stepper said I did some 90 over floors at the end of my 20 minutes... hmmm... sounds ridiculous, how did the machine tabulate that info I wonder...

Had tea with my girlfriend at Secret Recipe near Sungai Long (convenient, not crowded, no need to go to town)... loads of gossips but we were heavily interrupted by her little boy, who wanted to go home soon after we ordered. His daddy had to come fetch him while my girlfriend and me continue with some "light" shopping around the area. Oh, thanks for the treat girlfriend!

Not sure what is this flower called in English... it will blossom only once and always at night. Not sure how it know the time, but the flower will blossom slowly late night and fully blossomed at midnight. It has really great smell and they said each of these flowers has a flower fairy inside... if we make a wish, they will help us make our wish come true... just like the fairy tales.

Mum said cupcake not nice, too sweet and she doesn't like the orange taste. (But the sugar amount is the same like last week which she said ok!) Cousin sis said she like it, and she likes orange and she is my good supporter (hmmm... unrealiable feedback).
