Holiday Classes

I think, I really can't do BJ. Or, I can only keep it as holiday class to do ocassionally only. Can feel my knee throbing with pain when doing squat today.

Went to Axis on Thursday for my holiday gym regime. I seldom have the chance to join FI's class, so thought it would be good to join one (excluded BA in my plan becuase that cause pain to my knees too, besides, wanted to do BB with Hobbes, which clashes with BA).

Walked passed FI before class and my greeting to him was "早神" (good morning) at 2.00pm. And I must have looked like a sleepy head too since FI's reply was "重未昏醒啊?" (not awake yet?).

I was thrilled to see PiC there, already dripping in sweat when I saw her, just after RPM. We went to BB together and the class was packed, sardine type packed with all the regular supporters. Was my first time in the Mind and Body studio and my first impression of the newly renovated studio was, cool, but so stuffy? Feels like a hot BB and everyone was dripping in big sweat before the end of warm up!

Hobbes started the class with flowing Tai Chi moves, looking very cool and extremely good looking. But, he too was soaked in sweat in no time, trying very hard to keep the sweat away from his sights while still not failing in challenging all of us in some torturing poses (club ran out of towel that morning, poor thing). I had to say, it's much easier getting into the poses when my body was so warm, I was able to do my downward dog with a perfect inverted-V in the first round. Hobbes' BB was really good, with him looking so graceful in all the movements, I was really inspired! Quite a different feel from BP but as torturing as it can be!

BJ... could be better if my planned BJ buddy was there... even PiC had to go. I might have had Hobbes and gang as BJ buddies, but I stood at the wrong side of the class, having only FI as my "company" (yeah, Hobbes joined the class too, and he really has the grooves).

FI and his trademark blur-ness never fail to entertain the class, adding on to that would be his usual drama, looking very "sexy" and "hot". Haha... But "blur-ness" aside, FI's cueing has always been very good and movements are very easy to follow. I am really quite bad in BJ, only barely manage the new tracks but luckily there were some familiar old tracks - the jungle track as well. Though feeling a bit bored since no company, but I could always breeze through whenever it's FI's class, no sweat (literally no sweat since the main studio in contrast was well air-conditioned). The finale was an extremely "drama", I will always love you track. Whoopss... I think I was not suppose to tell.

FI's Surprise

I left the gym after body pump, went shower and got the birthday cake from the car. My original idea when discussed with little bro was to get the cake ready at the juice bar and we can give FI his little belated birthday surprise when they finished Attack.

When I was waiting around the juice bar area, I'd had the chance to speak to Eric about the cake surprise and found out that he and Nick were planning for a surprise too. They planned to bring in a piece of cake into the studio right after the class. Wow, that's definitely a much better surprise. Glad they didn't mind that I join in, and so we had a "double" surprise.

We waited secretly outside the studio while the members were being tortured with what looked like really tough workout. Renee was there early and so she joint us, and thanks to her for lighting all the candles. Once light dimmed, we entered the class with birthday songs (me not concentrating with the signing since I had to try hard to keep the candle lighted). Unlike Carebear, FI didn't think we were loud wo. Hehe...

Happy Birthday darling!

Don't think there were any complaints from anyone towards the cake, and cake finished by the time I left, to grab a quick bite with little bro. Present wise, I really didn't know what to get since have not been doing FI's class, not sure what he has and what he doesn't, so got something "safe" - something one could just have a few of it with the same design and does not matter.

I went straight to bed without changing out from my jeans when I came home, so tired!!! I've not been taking my clarinase for 3 days, not sure if it's a coincidence or I cannot live without it, I'm having a serious flu right now. Better go sleep...

Wrong leg!

I was very blur... haven't done body step for... a long long time. When FI's body step class started, I actually forgot what a "repeater" is!!! Took me a while to think body step language again AND ... I got a "wrong leg!!!" from FI during one of my supposed familiar tracks. Humphhh...

After a while, I'd to admit that I must have been doing less intensive cardio lately because I found myself dragging my feet already and felt all dizzy and head spinning. Otherwise, it must be due to the poor ventilation of the studio which made us felt lethargic. Luckily I didn't fall off the step board.

More luck for me towards the later part of the class because it was all old time favorites, which means I'd managed the class despite my bluriness. My favorite tracks - Candy and Treble Dance.

I wasn't sure if FI was just trying to pull our legs or the thought really did cross his mind - he asked if he should do Final Count Down. Noooooo!!!!!! Not Final Count Down! That's horror of the horrors to me (in other words I really hate that track, mainly for it's "skiing" part. I feel that "skiing" is also Manjakid's all time favorite, every time I attend his class, I ended up with a track with skiing as finale...) I was so sure I was not the only one who fear (hate) this track because there were many shouts of horror when that track was mentioned. On the other hand, I love Treble Dance for the "shuffles", cool!

MasterChef was with me today, her final few days of free gym access. I'd to say she did really well, stayed through the whole class, a class which I questioned myself why on earth did I join. She even managed the conditioning track - one with loads, I mean LOADS of triceps push ups!

This, is what I call extreme torture, and if given a choice would be my PRIORITY when selecting class. Too bad my work schedule does not permit me joining such class. Sigh sigh sighssssss...
