Life life life...

Told MFG the other day before he left for his Bangkok trip that if you had time to do shopping, maybe he can get me a present, and I needed a name card. As you can see, guys are so practical, so he got me a great name card holder, genuine leather and all... but not "cute" hor? I miss that one I lost, the one from Carebear... but you know they say it's not about the item, it's about who gave you that item. Hee...

I am actually enjoying my life now, free and easy but not for long. I wish I can live like now forever. I guess one must still earn the living in exchange with one's energy, time, skills, knowledge etc... there is no such thing as free lunch, or in this case, free house, free car, free dinner, free gym.... the list goes on.

Now a days I am normally very busy towards end of the week... I was counting and it has been like that for erm... 5 weeks? This week looks leisure, speaking from a Monday night point of view but I never know. I just need to master the uncertainty of income and time allocation, try not to plan anything "heavy" towards end of the week...

So,nevertheless, if I live in "now" I am a very happy person. Although it's sad to not have MC and BIL (and little baby) close by, we still see each other and cherish the time we see each other more. There will be more changes down the road but I know that family will still be family, and goods friends will still be there no matter what. Oh yes, work will still be there unless I want to give up eating, driving and gyming :D

Farewell

My guinea pig died last Saturday... she was 7 years old.

I was glad that I witness the death. Seriously. I have been very busy for the past many many weeks and I am normally out on Saturdays. Coincidental, I was so free last Saturday at home and only planned to perhaps go for a swim at MC's place and have dinner with her during the late evening. I cancelled the plan later of course.

I was up attending to her in the morning changing the bedding in her cage, I gave the cage some extra scrubbing that day as it was really dusty after not thoroughly cleaning it for ages. Normally I will let her out to roam about and she will always jump back into the cage on her own when it is ready. A very well trained and clever pig she was...

When I place the cage back for her to go back in, I saw that she was lying rather flat on the floor instead of her usual standing or walking around. Ahhh... I knew she wasn't going to stay long. I had carried her for a long while, hugging her telling her that it was okay, and the time was right, and that Amituofo would be there to bring her to a better place if she desire. So no fear little piggy! After a long while, mum said that I can't be carrying her the whole day as mum predicted that pig will leave perhaps around 3pm ish or later. So I put her down, have her lying near to our altar where the statue of Amituofo was.

I was upstairs, and downstairs occasionally checking her out. She wasn't eating anything I placed near to her, she was lying to one side... the last time I went down because I "sensed something" and when I reach her, she was in such pain that I couldn't even touch her without her twitching. So I knew it was time. We can just tell. I stayed to chant Amituofo with her and for her... after a few minutes, I saw her drew a few, last, breath and she was gone. Rather peacefully I must say. She is now in our little garden, resting in peace.

It was really sad, especially when I pleaded (to whoever that could hear me) to let her go and not suffer anymore. However, I was glad that I was there when she left, imagine if I come back one day and discovered a dead pig! I really could not accept that... And thankfully, I had MC's and MFG's messages as company. Oh yes, the FB messages as well. Thank you all...

Life, or Buddha, will always have a way to arrange for things to take place and I trust that everything happen for a good reason. Thank you having me around during little pig's farewell. I am sure she is at a better place now.

This year is all about changes...

I woke up the next morning hurrying downstairs only to remember I no longer need to rush to feed my little pig; I walked passed where her cage used to be and there is no longer a cage. But it is a relief to have one less burden and responsibility.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Quite Free

I have been quite free last few days. My last order was delivered on Wednesday and my next confirmed order is end of next week. It's a break time that I have been longing but I felt a bit uneasy with the free time after going through 3 whole weeks of hectic schedule! I really should try to enjoy myself :)

So... this week I went for a long lunch with some of my favorite friends, including MFG. Too bad it was last minute rescheduled and I had my hair cut appointment with MC, else the lunch would have been even longer I think. That happens when everyone on the table does not have fixed working time ^^

Had my hair cut on Wednesday, and went for a swim at MC's new place. It was really calming swimming in a pool surrounded with trees and with breezy wind all the time. Stayed for dinner, MC cooked. It was great, but too bad I had to come home. Still miss living together a lot. But as I was telling MC, it is for better. Sooner or later, there will not be enough space for everyone in this same house anyways.

Thursday was a really leisure day... went to gym but did not rush for any class. Did my own workout and sweat a lot (must be the hot weather!). Then went hang out with sis at her place, had my late lunch. Came home watch tv had light dinner... Need to make sure I am around enough for mum as well.

Today I even manage to go all the way to TC to join a RPMC class. It was great. The speed track was a killer and I think it wasn't because of the track but the instructor! The class was so happening even though was a off peak slot with not many members. All depending on instructor...

It's weekend, I plan to sleep in late tomorrow. Although I CAN sleep in late everyday but I don't want to make it a habit. Besides, it is not nice if customer calls in the morning and I sound like a sleepy head. Also people from project team might also call...

Right, having said that I really, REALLY needed a break, I am looking forward to more crazy baking schedule :p :p :p

Milestone

Yay!!!! Finally completed two stressful and sleepless weeks! Graduated with passing marks and still alive :)
Now no matter how much I "sleep back" it didn't seem to help. I hope it is just PMS and hence I am feeling tired. This week I only have 4 orders, not too complicated and rather fun ones (NO HUMAN FIGURINES), so I guess I can kind of take a break. Too bad MC is not going to be free to hang out with me this week, and MFG is also not around. Not sure when MFG is coming back, he didn't know when I last asked him, and I didn't ask him again during our last few MSN conversation. He'll let me know when he's back I'm sure. He got my new iPhone 4 (free!) casing :) Happy...
Tomorrow will be 2 back to back classes, this coming week will be fruit juice week as well, I lost 1kg from going through the hectic weeks but I suspect is only muscle lost. So lets shed those weights and trim that waistline (and thighs!)

Panick

I am a bit panicky today. Or actually it has been since last few days. It could be due to a mixture of events, or it could be PMS and work stress.

My Ally McBel habit has gone worse, so I constantly must remind myself to change those thoughts to chanting, at least have the image of amituofo instead. But the mind goes wild most of the time when I am not "aware" of it. Like today, when I was driving, I picture myself being all alone in the house working on my cake and suddenly robbers came in! I some more reasoned with myself asking whether I can tell them to take whatever they want just leave alone my documents and iPhone? Also can they leave me alone to complete my cake order?

Crazy, I know. I can't help it, it is just like when you have a nightmare, you just cannot stop the dream, it goes one.

I also notice the feeling of uncertainty kicking in hard. I have this need of having someone around me constantly, I get scared when I am alone... it scares me that I actually feel this way. What is wrong with me? Geezzz... if I cannot live alone, I need to either get married or... erm. Stay with "someone".

I suddenly longing to have a married and being leisure "tai tai" life. Someone to take care of me, and I can just bake and take orders as I wish, as a passion instead of a stressful job to have ends meet. Now I can understand how it is like dreaming to get married. Haha... but seriously. That is my new target :)

There are some really big drama happening about the project I handle and pray is the only thing I can do right now.

Cake for competition not done yet!! I have to give the demo sesson tomorrow, which I paid RM30 for, a miss.

I hope I can sleep tonight.

Repair and replace

Have been receiving many advice telling me that I must be careful. (about the theft case of course) and not leave valuable stuff in the car, well, I guess who doesn't know. Only I alone know how it felt when one is really desperate.

I took the shortcut and it's pay back time now, but I am glad that I have paid back yet more bad karma. Today was a whole day of running around, but I was really pleasantly surprised that the government services are now really REALLY efficient and they are also super friendly. I spent less than half an hour at JPN, and I can collect my new IC tomorrow, they also did not fine me or impose any processing fee. THANK YOU!

I went to collect my credit card through the one hour replacement service so I have that back to arrange for all the auto debit details to be changed. No charge for credit card issuance of course, but the ATM cards are going to cost me.

The car window has been repaired, RM150, which my insurance will cover without affecting my NCD. So that's done.

Had to go back to collect the cake so that I can deliver them, and at this very rush timing, went to JPJ to get my drivers license. It was smooth there and it was done within half an hour. No need to go back, I go my new license (which I couldn't find the other day, maybe I left it at one of the places where I had to leave documents for entry registration!). The new license cost RM20.

Also managed to get my new Jusco card, RM12 as annual renewal fee and they gave me a new card without question.

The stuff that I really hate loosing are:
1) thumb drive - I hope it has been thrown away by the thief
2) card holder from Carebear
3) the dangling stuff on my bag from MC and MFG
4) my claranase full strip
5) new BB cream from Korea present from Aunt

Sometimes maybe there should be disasters in life (like the cake collapsing) so that we can start new and fresh, and with the bad experiences we have better skills in handling the matters with good foundation. :)

Now I have the cake competition to worry about!!! Only 3 days to work on it, I am so very tired, but I hope I don't recklessly take anymore desperate measures, at least not until much later :p
