Attractions

Was reading the book and one part really made me ponder...

It says this guy has no wealth, no status, not sociable and completely off-limits to the rich girls. But that made him most desirable; He is really hard to be seduced and gave the girls some really hard time. But that made him a challenge and more sought after among the girls.

Does this means that we are most of the time attracted to hard to achieve targets? I like challenges in live, in work, maybe in romance, but I totally disagree that one should play hard to get.

Anyways, I think naturally, we have the perception that whatever we don't have, are always the best.

The other day MG appeared, unexpectedly, unshaven with rolled up work shirt, a bit of a post-war, messy, stressed-out look, but quite appealing.

I know where this paragraph came from! Love her books!

I do agree that most of us always go for things that are a challenge to us. And it is strange that we only treasure things more when it takes more effort to get.

I know... it's like we cherish more if we went thro hard times. But everyday we pray for things to go smooth. What contradiction!
