I should have joined Carebear's BP tonight...
(btw tonight's post a bit long cuz trying to cramp 2 days' event into one. So, if you want, you can give up reading this post... about now.)
Today's traffic was fantastically smooth, 20 minutes and I was in KLCC from TTDI. I was so early even though I stayed slightly later at work. As I said, I could have joined BP since I was in time. Though I didn't really check the clock, but I knew the class had not start yet then because I bumped into a mad-woman-looking instructor. Haha... She did look harassed with streaks of hair falling onto her face. :p
Okay, I could have joined, and I think I should have joined BP. At 8.45pm, 15 minutes before the supposed end of Step class, I was already sending sms to Step Teacher.
"R u ok? Take care. I hope you just couldn't make it to the class, n not tat u r sakit or something right."
Then after shower, my sms read:
"I'm ok. Gotta attend a family emergency. Were there a lot of ppl? How was it?"
Well... As I had summarized for teacher who couldn't make it to the class tonight, the class was okay, but I was not used to the replacement instructor's style. He taught well, very clear, he could speak quite loud (mind you, there was no mic for mini studio at MMX, so instructors need to shout on top of the music) and the choreo was some how interesting, but I just couldn't summon enough enthusiasm towards the class. I find the choreo was rather short, so though it was interesting, I got a bit bored after some half an hour repetition and was planning to leave the class then.
But, I got rather "entertained" by a member who was trying hard not to row his eyes, perhaps, finding the choreo a bit funny. We had some good laugh because he was trying to exaggerate the moves so much that it's really hilarious. He asked if I could smile back at him when he smile (laugh) so that it would look like he was smiling with me and not smiling at the instructor. (or did he meant laugh at?). So jahat!
Anyways, I finally left 15 minutes before class ended, and thanks to that entertaining member for returning my board. Must get his name the next time. Before I left the studio, I mouthed "thank you" to the instructor, please forgive me for rudely leaving the class.
It's just my bad habit, I often find myself drifting off and not being "connected" to the class if I'm not familiar with the instructor. So far I could only manage doing BP with instructors I don't know. But nevertheless, pick-and-choose instructors is still one of my bad habits.
So if I had known, I could have joined BP and have another round of satisfying torture.
I'd really enjoyed BP last night, my strength is back! And though the class was tough (YES, your class was tough!) I could get through the class with loads of enduring pains but managed the moves; When I didn't have the strength, it was just plain suffering plus cannot manage the moves properly besides feeling sick.
Thank you for not doing "get your hands off my girl", BUT, that particular track was actually equally tough, just minus the irritating song. Also, I got loads of space in BP, very comfortable and no one irritated me with clashing boards or bar with me. Talking about bar, it was really hilarious when the song sung "I'm not dead... just floating" (or something like that) during chest track and Carebear said "just like the bar". Geezzz... was laughing so hard and was lucky that I could still hold onto my bar and not letting it crash on me. Haha...
On the contrast, I was really irritated by the "arrangement" in BC. Some people were just very difficult to "work with". Whenever I had nicely "place" myself at the best possible spot between the people around me, some other person must do last minute change of the person's standing position (most of the time directly in front of me). That would result in either me hitting, punching or kicking that person, OR me just giving up most of the kicks, punch, shuffles... Well, since there were not report of any major accidents in class, you know I chose the second option right. Humphhh...
On the happy note, PiC was there and it was particularly cheerful doing the "performance" during the YMCA track with her (I always got my "C" on the wrong direction!). So cute. The combat master was also extremely entertaining and sporting by demonstrating the body-jam-looking moves in one of the tracks, what track was it again?
Heard that the master had lost his iPod, got stolen at Axis for the third time. Geezz... that's bad. But at the end of the class, the victim of the theft forgot to bring his new iPod with him upon leaving the studio. Owner lost iPod, or iPod lost owner? Humphh...

Like your end remark. funny!
LadyN, I know, this post too long, got confusing, but lazy to "repair" the sentences. BC was on Mon at TC before BP. My PiC was there, Diha was there too, and the usual Farid, Wookie, Eli...
MC, I always try to have a closing for my posts. Hehe... Glad you picked up my end remark.
