Tau Fu Fa

Tau Fu Fa, was the highlight of my day.

It has been really busy at work! I was a little later arriving at gym yesterday, but on time for BC. It was Carebear who's late even though she was so confident that she could make on time it when I MSN-ed her at 6.30pm. Hah!

I love the new BC release! There were quite many moves which I thought was really cool. To the best of my memory, there was this double-knee-side-kick, roundhouse kick challenge, a very groove recovery track and... Okay, I'm sure I'll be able to remember more in three weeks' time. Haha...

Plus, last night was 3 instructors on stage, besides Carebear, Peggy was also "performing" together with Master C. Hehe... it was very much a performance besides being a good workout class. I actually missed some of the moves because was too busy checking out the performance on stage. It was awesome, can we have such class forever? Hehe...

While preparing for pump, my highlight of the day waltzed into the class room. OK, I don't mean the Tau Fu Fa grew legs, it was LGM breezing in passing me a bag which has something inside that looked very much like TFF. I've heard about this famous TFF already before this. Finally got the honoured to be "present-ed" with one. It was not the traditional TFF, it's more of the pudding type - all in one complete piece/ box and not the ones that were scooped out with sugar syrup. Like I said, a low calorie, low fat, low sugar, healthy item. :p THANK YOU LGM!

BP this release, some said tough, some said not, it all depends on the weights you use. And, the tracks can't ALL be tough throughout right? The warm up track is actually very mild compared with many other tracks, to me I couldn't do overhead press and biceps with my 5kg warm up weights, so any tracks with a lot of that would be tough for me.

The parts that made me scream would normally be - the 4 sets of bottom halves at the end of squat; the last set of bottom halves during chest (no break!); back track - the continuation of 4 sets of triple rows AND deadlifts AFTER clean and press (can't feel my forearm anymore!); McRaise (is this correct spellking?) during shoulder track is no joke, especially if you are tired out in combat before pump. Having said that, the shoulder track is really cool, with cool music.

Triceps is ok for me, unless I want to torture myself by adding more weights for the overhead presses, I find myself very awkward doing the overhead presses on the bench. The music for triceps track was a bit too "noisy" for me though. Don't like the music. :(

Oh, can we also have pump class like last night more? Two more instructors on stage - little bro (a surprise to me, did you tell me? :p) and (geezzz... I wasn't paying attention, *spank spank*) Steven?. However, the "performance" was not as much as combat, guess that's about how much you can do when carrying extreme weights on the bar.

I always enjoy seeing guys instructors TT-ing with Carebear, I think there is this "basic rule" that the guys would have to carry more weights than our lady-instructor in question. Though she carries super heavy weights and is what I like to call the Grand MOT, guy-instructors would somehow have to try challenge her weights. So, if I remember correctly, the guys did well in the squat challenge, them with 15kgs and her with 12.5kgs; Chest track, not so ok right? Or was it just LB? Back track, 10kgs for the guys *clap clap*. Would you feel that guys might find shoulder tracks easier for them, when we are all using 2.5kg plates for the raises? Oh, some of them do use the 7lb dumbbell I think, which is what, about 3 odd kgs?

Great class, are we doing the same next week? Hee...

hah ! i think i am the one person who thinks BC35 is not nice. :-p yea, music wise is fun, but the moves are not challenging enough. yea, it meant to get down to the basic. hmmm, may be that's the reason. maybe i want something more challenging.. :-D

and yes, RPM38 is the coolest of all progs that i joined i.e. BC, BJ & BP. i love RPM38 !!!
